WHO CAN VOLUNTEER?

Any individual age 14 and over can volunteer at OVM. Whatever your motivation for sharing your time, OVM will work with you to find the best match for your particular talents, interests and availability.

VOLUNTEERS SERVE IN MANY WAYS:

  • Visiting with residents who lack a strong support system

  • Reading aloud newspapers/books/magazines

  • Playing cards

  • Putting together puzzles

  • Birthday & Special Occasion parties

  • Taking residents for walks

  • Church services

  • Pet visits

  • Working the Gift Shop

  • Office support

  • Teaching new skills

  • Arts & Crafts

  • Helping with Bingo, Chair Volleyball, & much more!
