About OVM

Ohio Valley Manor (OVM) was conceived in the late 1960s by a small group of local entrepreneurs concerned about the lack of high-quality long-term care in Brown County and the surrounding area. After two years of plan development and construction, the first 50-bed nursing facility – named the Ohio Valley Manor Convalescent Center – officially opened its doors on April 9, 1971.

For five decades, OVM has expanded its range of services, focusing on person-centered care that is responsive to each individual’s needs. Repeatedly recognized for its quality of care and excellence in service, OVM continues to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community with cutting-edge technology and a highly-skilled, dedicated and caring staff.

In 2017, OVM was acquired by Health Care Management Group, a leading healthcare provider in the Greater Cincinnati area.  As OVM continues to grow, we remain committed to our mission of creating "an environment where patients can attain their highest potential for happiness and dignity through the fulfillment of goals identified by their partnership with an experienced and dedicated multidisciplinary healthcare team."
