Advanced Regional Therapy has Certified Personal Trainers. Using state of the art equipment, a Certified Personal Trainer can help you set up a fitness plan to help you lose weight, increase endurance, stamina and flexibility. Through private or small group sessions, you can have help establishing and reaching your personal fitness goals.
During a private or small group session with a Certified Athletic Trainer, together you will set goals for physical fitness, conditioning and training specific to the athlete. Certified TAthletic Trainers also work with athletes and coaches on injury prevention and off-season maintenance programs.
Massage is the practice of soft tissues manipulation with physical, functional, and in some cases psychological purposes and goals. It involves acting on and manipulating the body with pressure – structured, unstructured, stationary, or moving – tension, motion, or vibration, done manually or with mechanical aids. Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic vessels, or organs of the gastrointestinal system. Our Massage Therapists at Advanced Regional Therapy offer a variety of Massage services including neuromuscular, relaxation, lymphadema drainage, myofascial release, and positional release.
Upon successful discharge of therapy services, clients are eligible for Advanced Regional Therapy's Fitness Maintenance Program. For a small monthly fee, clients have complete access to all fitness equipment, Monday through Friday. To ensure your safety, a complete gym orientation must be completed with a therapist prior to beginning this program.
Following successful discharge from a cardiac rehab program and with written permission from your physician, Advanced Regional Therapy's Fitness Center is open to the public, weekdays, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, for a small monthly fee. In addition, you will also receive blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation monitoring services. A complete gym orientation must be completed with a therapist prior to beginning this program.
Advanced Regional Therapy's therapists are trained to evaluate and treat children ages 0-21 years with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological and developmental delays. Our goal is to improve the child’s quality of life and help him/her to reach his/her maximum potential. For children with special needs who receive Individual Educational Programming (IEP) in the school system, we can provide therapy in the summer to help keep your child on track for the upcoming school year.
Occupational Therapy for the pediatric patient addresses fine motor skills, coordination and motor planning, strength and endurance, self-care skills, social skills, cognitive skills, sensorimotor assessments and intervention, splinting and adaptive equipment and developmental delays. |
