SafeLink is
a government supported program that provides a free cell phone and airtime each month for income eligible consumers.
In Ohio, a person qualifies for the SafeLink Wireless program if he or she receives Section 8/Federal Public Housing Assistance, Medicaid,
Food Stamps, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), free school lunches, general assistance/disability assistance, HEAP, Supplemental Security Disability
Income (SSDI), Ohio Works First or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). A household also qualifies if its income is
at or under 150 percent of the federal poverty guidelines. Some restrictions apply. Click
