SafeLink Phone Service SafeLink is a government supported program that provides a free cell phone and airtime each month for income eligible consumers.  In Ohio, a person qualifies for the SafeLink Wireless program if he or she receives Section 8/Federal Public Housing Assistance, Medicaid, Food Stamps, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), free school lunches, general assistance/disability assistance, HEAP, Supplemental Security Disability Income (SSDI), Ohio Works First or Temporary Assistance  for Needy Families (TANF).  A household also qualifies if its income is at or under 150 percent of the federal poverty guidelines.  Some restrictions apply.  Click on the phone above to go to the SafeLink Website for additional information and enrollment documents.
