Birch Place Assisted Living Apartments at Ohio Valley Manor provide a combination of privacy, professional healthcare services, and the assistance with day-to-day activities you may need such as taking medications, bathing or dressing. You can leave the cooking and cleaning to our staff and even the laundry if you prefer. Birch Place's physical environment has been designed with convenience and comfort in mind --- each apartment has special features to make your day easier such as lever-handled doors and faucets, a built-in night light system, emergency call lights and many other features. 24-hour personal assistance combined with a full complement of household services are available for individuals who are unable or who choose not to continue to live independently. One monthly fee covers the apartment rental and a comprehensive service package. Hot, delicious, nutritionally balanced meals are served in Birch Place's beautiful dining room or in each resident's apartment. All meals are prepared under the direction of a licensed dietitian and are prepared with individual preferences in mind. Weekly housekeeping is included with each rental. Dusting, vacuuming, trash removal and general cleaning are performed by our trained staff. Linen service is provided twice weekly at no additional charge and includes the changing and laundering of bed and bath linens. Cable TV is included in the monthly fee, and phone and Internet services are available for a small additional fee.Convenient access to other services is another plus at Birch Place. An on-premises Hair Salon, Gift Shop and Laundromat are just down the hall. Physical rehabilitation services and a Massage Center are also provided on-site.
